This month, the Samaritans launch their annual ‘Talk to us’ campaign. This is to highlight the importance of good mental health and encourages people to speak out who are struggling. Teaching can be a demanding job and teachers may have felt isolated and anxious whilst juggling their workload and teaching children in the classroom.
In March 2021, 82% of teachers described themselves as stressed. Excessive workload and long hours have been sighted as the main factors of stress. So, it is important to have a work-life balance and take rest when needed.
